The MTC has been so great. Like I wouldn’t mind staying longer! Fast and Testimony meeting here was powerful. There are only 26 missionaries total, so we have all made great friends. It’s great to have such a good relationship with President and Sister Anderson as well. They are like our Grandparents.

We went to the Johannesburg temple on Tuesday and it was to coolest experience ever. 11 of the 26 went through for the first time. To see all the African elders and sisters go through the temple for the first time was so cool. The temple is tiny! and in the middle of the city! It was definitely not an experience to forget. Then scary story, not even 5 minutes before we walked out of the temple, a lady was assaulted and had things stolen from her right in front of the gate to the temple. But we were safe! When you’re doing the Lord’s work you will be protected!!

Me and SIster Ndhlovu are the sister training leaders, so basically the district leader over all the sisters. I was not expecting that! But It has been a great opportunity to learn about leadership and get to know the sisters and Presisdent and sister Ashton on a deeper level. After the temple we had a devotional and got to ask questions about it and the symbolism and stuff and the things Pres and Sister Ashton taught us a lot of cool things about the temple and what the different things symbolize.
The showers are a pain here. they go hot then cold then too hot then too cold. But at least I can shower. The food is ok… different! But I’m definitely getting full! I can never finish all my food and the elders get on my case so much every time I throw away food.
I love the classes and teachers here and all the things I’ve learned about being a missionary! I am off to Zim on Tuesday which is sad to leave everyone here, but I’m so excited!
During sport time I go out and play volleyball with the elders and a couple sisters come too but I actually do good! haha all of them want me to be on their team and they all call my name to whole time which I love to hear them say in their accents. It’s like British and Austrailian mixed kind of.

I just love it here so much!! The people are so wonderful and I love them all!!! It’s been so fun for me to make new friends. (WHAT? Magan having fun and actually making lots of friends?? I know) I’ve made so many great friendships with everyone. Not sure what it is, but I’ve been way more outgoing than I have ever been and it’s made me progress and have such a great time.
